Role Overview
As a Business Development & Bidding Associate, you will be responsible for managing and expanding our presence on freelancing platforms, acquiring new clients, handling tender processes, and optimizing our sales funnel. You will leverage your expertise in lead generation, bidding, and client relationship management to maximize revenue and build long-term partnerships.
Key Responsibilities
- Profile Management: Optimize and manage company profiles on platforms like Fiverr, Upwork, Freelancer, and others.
- Lead Generation: Identify and engage potential clients through effective outreach strategies.
- Bidding & Proposal Writing: Craft compelling proposals and bid on high-value projects and tenders to win contracts.
- Client Relationship Management: Build and maintain strong relationships with clients to ensure repeat business and referrals.
- Market Research: Analyze competitor strategies and market trends to refine sales approaches.
- Tender Process Handling: Identify, evaluate, and submit tenders for relevant opportunities.
- Negotiation & Closing: Negotiate project terms and pricing to maximize profitability while maintaining client satisfaction.
- Collaboration with Internal Teams: Work with project managers, designers, developers, and marketers to ensure successful project execution.
- Performance Tracking: Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) and optimize strategies for growth.
Key Qualifications & Skills
- 3+ years of experience in sales, lead generation, business development, and bidding on freelancing platforms.
- Proven success in bidding, proposal writing, client acquisition, and tender processes.
- Strong understanding of technology, design, digital marketing, and SaaS industries.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and storytelling skills.
- Experience with freelancing platforms’ algorithms, rankings, and gig optimization.
- Ability to handle multiple projects and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Proficiency in English (mandatory); additional languages are a plus.
- Familiarity with CRM tools and online sales funnels.
